Julie, a member of the advanced Jubilantain species, serves as a commander of a covert unit stationed on Earth. Intelligent, compassionate, and quietly determined, she possesses a natural curiosity that often leads her into extraordinary situations.
Originally sent to Earth to help humanity combat a devastating virus engineered by the Ep-Keys, Julie’s mission takes a dangerous turn when she is kidnapped and loses her memory. And later stranded on a hostile planet with only her loyal first mate, Burns, she must fight to survive while slowly uncovering the truth about who she is and why she was sent to Earth.
Guided by empathy, loyalty, and an unwavering sense of responsibility, Julie’s courage allows her to form unlikely alliances with species across the galaxy. Her journey eventually draws her into contact with powerful alien civilizations and the far-reaching influence of the Rein Empire.
As she travels among distant worlds aboard Captain Gala’s warship, Julie’s choices begin to ripple far beyond her own life—touching the fate of civilizations and shaping events that will echo throughout the empire.

"Curiosity led her beyond Earth... courage carried her home"
Meet Gala—a distinguished warship commander in service to the mighty Rein Empire. A princess by birth, she is the fifteenth child of King Ganizer, yet she has earned her rank through exceptional intellect, unwavering honor, and proven leadership rather than royal privilege. Highly intelligent and fiercely principled, Gala commands with confidence, wisdom, and integrity.
Entrusted with one of the Empire's most important responsibilities, Gala's mission is twofold: to provide aid to the Empire's allies whenever called upon and to forge new planetary alliances that strengthen peace, cooperation, and the future of the Rein Empire.
Like all members of the noble Rein race—the founding species of the vast Rein Empire—Gala possesses extraordinary abilities revered throughout the galaxy. The Reins have the rare gift of generating Rein radiation at will, a remarkable living energy that can become a devastating force against those who threaten the Empire or a life-sustaining power that renews worlds and provides a clean, natural source of energy. They also possess elegant, retractable dragonfly-like wings that allow them to soar through the skies with effortless grace, making the Reins as magnificent in flight as they are formidable in battle.

"Honor is the first command of every true leader"
Mulus is a prince of the Rein Empire—the son of King Ganizer and brother to Gala—and serves as captain of a vital Rein research vessel. Though Rein by birth, his life diverged from tradition the moment he entered the world.
As an infant, Mulus was cast into the River of Life on the Rein homeworld, an act meant to end him. He was rescued by his uncle, but the river altered him in profound and lasting ways. Unlike other Reins, Mulus cannot expel radiation as a weapon or life-renewing force. Instead, his radiation manifests as an overwhelming field of attraction, a power that irresistibly draws others toward him.
This condition carries severe consequences. The intensity of the attraction can induce obsession and madness in those exposed for too long, requiring Mulus to rely on a specialized inoculation to dampen its effects. Even so, his affliction has shaped a life of distance—strained relationships, enforced solitude, and long stretches of isolation necessary for his own safety and that of others.

"Even the brightest light can carry the heaviest burden"
For millions of years, King Ganizer has stood as the steady hand guiding the Rein Empire through discovery, conflict, and renewal.
He is a ruler who values wisdom above conquest and responsibility above power. Every decision he makes carries the weight of countless worlds and generations yet to come.
Within the halls of his flagship, where ancient knowledge stands beside remarkable technology, the King oversees an empire built not only on strength, but on honor, compassion, and the pursuit of understanding.
His greatest legacy is not the throne he occupies—it is the future he works every day to protect.

"A million years of wisdom still looks toward tomorrow"
Burns is Julie’s closest friend and most trusted comrade. They first met over two centuries ago, when Julie saved his life. In doing so, the mist she carried from her home planet transformed him into an immortal. Since that moment, their lives have been bound together.
Time and again, they find themselves stranded in hostile worlds, forced to fight simply to survive. Through every hardship, they protect one another without question. When Julie is pregnant and they are kidnapped and abandoned on the planet Uranda—without Richard—it is Burns who stands between her and death, keeping her safe and alive against all odds.
"Some friendships are stronger than time itself"
Gala’s warship would be lost without the Doc. At one time or another, he has been responsible for saving the lives of every hero aboard. His groundbreaking inventions have advanced the ship’s biological systems and reshaped interspecies cooperation. Through a single inoculation, he has made communication possible among vastly different species, and his medical innovations allow the Rein to exist in close proximity to others without suffering the destructive effects of radiation.
While his species is traditionally driven by the pursuit of recognition and achievement, the Doc has evolved beyond those instincts. His friendships and deep loyalty to the Rein crew have reshaped his priorities, placing the lives and well-being of others above personal acclaim.

"Every discovery begins with compassion"
A longtime ally of Captain Gala and a loyal warrior of the Rein Empire, Thol has fought in countless battles to defend the empire and its allies. His loyalty has been proven on the front lines of war, where courage and survival define every mission.
He often fights alongside Champion Daymer, his trusted comrade and fellow member of a fierce warrior species known for its strength, honor, and combat skill. Both are formidable fighters, deadly in close combat and equally dangerous piloting their heavily modified warships.
Thol’s species relies on a rare mineral from their homeworld known as K-saze, vital to their biology. In its absence, Thol supplements his diet by consuming the bones of hunted game. His species also possesses unique biological glands capable of producing hardened skeletal fragments infused with a corrosive compound—turning even their own biology into a weapon in battle.

"Strength is forged where survival leaves no other choice"
Daymer, a warrior of the Decco race, is Gala’s husband, and together they share a relationship filled with excitement, laughter, and deep loyalty. They have a daughter, Rose, who is currently away training aboard another Rein warship.
Daymer is often absent, called away on relentless battle assignments, but whenever he returns to Gala’s warship, his presence instantly lifts her spirits. Decorated with countless medals earned through hard-fought victories, Daymer is known throughout the fleet as Champion Daymer—a title he has claimed by remaining undefeated in every battle he has faced.

"Victory is earned one battle at a time"
